What is a Branding Iron Imprint?
It is much like an footprint except we are capturing the imprint of a red hot branding iron burned into real ranch wood or new wood. Many of the imprints can be decorated with real ranch barbed wire and other things. Click on “Branding Iron Imprints” for examples. These make great gifts for the cowboy or cowgirl in all of us.

What is Branding Iron Art?
Branding iron art are creative artistic pieces made from the combination and sometimes unusual interpretation of old western branding iron(s). Most art pieces are painted and are accessorized with real ranch barbed wire and other items from real western horse ranch(es). The branding irons are used in unbelievable ways. Sometimes they are turned upside down or only a portion of the red hot branding iron is used. The use of red hot steel is not an easy tool to master and is very dangerous.

Branding iron art is always hand crafted and designed. Because of this each piece takes time to create. Many of the bigger more elaborate pieces take days to create. And as always, no two pieces of art are identical. Each piece is unique and comes with the branded signature of the artist for authenticity. Custom orders are always possible. Each imprint is made from authentic Old West branding irons and your choice of ranch wood or new wood. Real ranch barbed wire is used on some branding art and branding imprint pieces.

Please Note: Branding irons can and do wear out. For this reason some imprints and art pieces are in limited supply. Once an iron becomes weak or unusable we retire that iron and put it in our museum.
